The Marriage Course 2025

Every year we host the Marriage Course at St Margaret's.

Who is the marriage course for?

If you are a married couple or are in a long-term cohabiting relationship, have been together for for one year or 61 years and whether you feel you have a strong relationship or are struggling.

Whatever your situation, the practical tools you learn will help improve and strengthen your relationship.

While The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles, it is designed for couples with or without a Christian faith.

What can I expect on the course?

The evening will start with a delicious meal for two giving you space to relax and chat. You will be served at a candle lit table, making it feel just like a date night.  There will be practical talks that are informative and fun and time to discuss the talks privately with your partner. There is no group work, so relax - you will not have to share anything about your relationship with anyone else.

Testimonies

"It was a fantastic atmosphere. Although we were amongst all these people I felt we were on a tropical island just the two of us. It was a great feeling just to spend time together."

"We nearly didn't come... this year has been extremely hard... we came to a brick wall and didn't know how to get through it. It has totally changed things around. We are going to get our marriage blessed next and have a fresh start."
